Questions dads ask
Is this therapy?
No. Anchor is educational guidance built on published developmental research — think of it as a very well-read friend who's also a dad, not a clinician. It doesn't diagnose, treat, or replace professional help. If you or your kid are in crisis, Anchor will point you to real resources (like 988 in the US) instead of generating advice.
What happens to my kid's data?
It stays yours. Birth details and the answers you give are used to personalize your guidance and for nothing else. We don't sell data, we don't run ads, and you can delete your account and every profile in it at any time from Settings. AI requests are processed server-side and aren't used to train public models.
How is this different from other parenting apps?
It's built for dads, by a dad — in how it talks (mechanism first, no filler), when it's designed to be used (at night, in the car), and what it covers (repair after you yelled, not just prevention). And it cites its sources.
Do I have to pay?
